A Slice of Life Today I was working on my bookwork outside. It was warm when I had started, but it had become colder and darker since. I was sitting down for a long while, quite immobile other than my hands, which wrote answers to questions in my workbook. I was contently working, when in my peripheral vision, I saw a black cat. I turned to look at it and at my movement, it turned to look at me. I stared at the cat for a little while. The cat stared at me for a while. Then it ran off. The end.A Slice of Life
